A floor timer for Ruberangis the Vile (厭悪のルベランギス) at Strength III in Dragon Quest X. Start it when the boss uses Circle Calamity or Grand Calamity. The timer counts down to each floor and tells you where to stand.
How to use
- Tap Circle Calamity or Grand Calamity at the moment the attack starts.
- The big number counts down to the next floor. The line below says where to stand, with the Japanese callout underneath for Japanese parties.
- If the timer drifts from the fight, use 3s back or 3s ahead to line it up again.
- Voice callouts are on by default: a short English line tells you where to stand, just before each chime. You can turn them off in the settings. On iPhone, turn off Silent mode to hear the sound.
The chime
The timer plays a Japanese-style time signal before each floor: three short beeps one second apart, then a long tone. The long tone starts two seconds before the countdown reaches zero.
